energy recomp
you've heard of a body recomp, but you need a brain recomp.
Our brains behave like a puppy dog. If we do not train them- give them structure, discipline and a reward system they will just run rampant chasing whatever gives them the most instant gratification. BUT if we take time, care and attention in training them, they will become the most loyal and obedient partner. Taking the time to understand what is going on under the hood of your psyche is life changing work. The only way that you can begin to build your life with intention, is to start by retraining your brain. Retraining your brain starts with a stringent deprogramming process, one that is ongoing.
Where we place our attention we place your lives.
Where does your attention go on a day to day basis? If it goes to anything other than what gives you excitement, energy, joy and health, you need a redirect.
You’ve heard of a body recomposition, have you ever heard of an energy recomposition?
Everything in your life is vying for your attention- HARD. With tactics, with a strategy. Because those who are rich and powerful know that your attention is pure source.
Attention is energy.
Attention is money.
Attention is life.
Your attention is the most valuable thing you have.
Every piece of media you place attention on is shaping your brain. Neurons that fire together, wire together. Anything that affects your thought, affects your reality.

Becoming hyper intentional of the media you consume, will begin changing your life almost immediately. Feeling generally flat, kind of a medium level of boredness with your life, uninspired, unexcited, is not baseline and does not have to be your reality. You feel this way because of the media you are inundating your brain with. Your life has the capacity to be something that you are excited about all the time.
ENERGY RECOMP
Your energy recomp is going to begin with a media diet.
Take heed of all of the media you consume daily.
How much time are you putting into consuming other people’s agendas?
How much of the music you listen to is empowering? How much is harmful or hateful or sad?
You don’t need to do more to improve yourself and your health, you just need to be more intentional (and probably do less).
Pay attention to all of the media that does not leave you feeling better or more energized than before and cut it out.
Next, become aware and take note of your energy sinks and your energy springs. An energy sink is anything that has a dulling effect on you. If you walk away from the activity feeling less clarity, less happy, dysregulated, stressed, ugly, brain foggy- you just poured your attention into an energy sink. Examples of some common energy sinks include
Doom scrolling
Binging TV
Binge drinking at bars and clubs
Hanging out with anyone who doesn't inspire and empower you
Stalking social media accounts
Spending time and money on attempting to remain within the parameters of the beauty standard (a fucking fake thing)
Participation in any of these drains your energy. A sink is something that removes something from a system entirely. Your energy goes into it and you get absolutely nothing out of it. An energy sink is a waste of your life energy.
When you put energy into an energy sink, it feeds someone else’s vision, vitalizes someone else.
That is why the energy leaves your system.
Replace energy sinking activities with energy springs. An energy spring is something that when you pour energy into it, you get a return on investment. These activities vitalize you. Strengthen your vision, your health, your life.
You walk away from these activities feeling light, expansive, blissful, clear and jubilant. Examples of energy springs include
Spending neutral time in nature. (the three ways of spending time include, neutral, passive and active. Neutral time is when you are not generating an output, nor are you consuming anything. No music, no podcasts- just presence with nature.)
Studying something you are curious about learning.
Learning a new skill.
Exercise.
Creating anything.
Cleaning.
Writing or journaling.
Any form of self expression.
Time around loved ones and people you feel expanded by.
Following any curiosity.
An energy spring will make you feel better after doing them and also give you a return on investment. The energy and time you put into these activities always bears fruit.
When you cut out energy sinks and replace them with springs your energy takes on a new shape. Your perspective takes on a new shape.
This is the energetic recomposition. When you become intentional with where you put your energy, you start creating your life on your terms. Your vision becomes clear. Your aura brightens. You are able to tap your energy well whenever you want, because nothing is blocking you anymore.
Take back your attention, take back your life.
